We Stand in Solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
June 11, 2020
We recognize the unconscionable reality confronting our country’s Black citizens. The horrific killings that include the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Mychael Johnson, Nina Pop, Monika Diamond, Regis Korchinski-Paquet, and many more, combined with the devastating, disproportionate toll of COVID-19 on black communities, have filled us with deep pain and sorrow.
We are anti-racist. We stand with all who experience injustice.
This gallery is a small business built on values of diversity, equity and inclusion. We stand in solidarity with the fight against systemic racism, white supremacy, and the historic and ongoing oppression of the Black community.
We hope the outcome of our collective grief and action will be a reckoning that strengthens the fight to end systemic racism and oppression in this country, and an affirmation of the sanctity, complexity and beauty of Black life and humanity. Today, we are listening and examining all our assumptions about our interactions and conduct with each other, with artists, and with the world we all share.
With you, we are mourning.
