Diane Rosenstein Gallery is pleased to present Western Haze I, a suite of 20 monoprints by Heather Day. Each multicolor screenprint is unique in composition and includes colored pencil elements hand-drawn by the artist.

“There were a few weeks in San Francisco where I’d wake up to a bright orange sky with the sun radiating against wildfire smoke in a neon-pink glow. The color’s urgency and uncanny presence stayed with me as I was completing this series and informed both my work and the title of the series as well. “-- Heather Day

Each work is printed on Rives BFK Grey paper (280 gsm) with Tom Kracauer in Los Angeles shortly after the mid-September opening of Ricochet - Heather Day's solo exhibition.
